MCV Commercial S.A. (Commercial Vehicles Manufacture SA) was established as a company in 1995, MCV Commercial S.A. begins its operations with 51% of the shares by the foreign party (Mr. Karim Ghabbour, MCV Egypt) and 49% by the Cuban side, represented by TRANSIME SA (50% Ministry of Industry Sideromecánica (SIM), 50% MITRANS), with headquarters on Intersection de Via Blanca y Monumental, Berroa, Habana del Este, Havana.

MCV Commercial S.A. is the general representative in Cuba of Daimler AG, is the only entity authorized to sell Mercedes-Benz in the country and is the exclusive distributor of the mark. It maintains relations with the parent company in Germany, with various subsidiaries and licensees in different countries, including Egypt and MCV MB Brazil, the main support of Mercedes-Benz in America. It is also the official distributor of MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH and its products for non-vehicular applications.
